Srinagar, Nov 11 (KNO): Advisor to Chief Minister, Nasir Aslam Wani on Friday said that the newly elected government is putting every effort to make sure that the promises done with the people are fulfilled and that the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah holding back to back meetings in New Delhi are aimed at the welfare of Jammu and Kashmir. “The Chief Minister has met several people in New Delhi including the Finance Minister during which threadbare discussions were made for the wellbeing of J&K. No stone will be left unturned to fulfill the promises done with the people,” Wani told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO). Pertinently, Chief Minister, who is presently in New Delhi called on Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar at the Vice-President’s Enclave on November 13. He also met President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan on November 14. Today, the Chief Minister called on the Union Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs, Nirmala Sitharaman. Meanwhile, Wani stated that the elected government has just taken over in J&K, only a month has elapsed since then. “The government is putting the efforts to fulfill the promises done with the people,” he said, adding that a lot has to be done to come up to the expectations of the masses. “Not even a single promise will be forgotten. The government has promised and will deliver it on the ground as well,” he said. “Since the new government assumed office, there is a feel-good factor in the atmosphere. The people are at ease and hey know their own government has taken over,” Wani said—(KNO)
